What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes general admission to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland Park and the exclusive Lady Knox Geyser presentation at 10:15 AM.
How many geyser presentations are there each day?
There is only one Lady Knox Geyser presentation per day, starting promptly at 10:15 AM. Please arrive by 9:45 AM to secure your spot.
Can I go directly to the geyser without purchasing a ticket?
Yes, after your online purchase, the confirmation email will include a link with the address for easy navigation. You can go directly to the
Lady Knox Geyser area on the presentation day.
What should I do after the geyser presentation?
After the presentation, our team will direct you to the nearest parking area close to the visitor centre. You can then explore Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland Park at your leisure.
What are the park's opening hours?
The park is open seven days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the last admission at 3:00 PM.
Are there toilet facilities available at Waiotapu?
There are no toilet facilities inside the main park or at the geyser itself. Please use the facilities at the Visitor Centre before entering the park.
What should I bring?
Sturdy footwear, rain poncho or umbrella, sunscreen, hat, and a fully charged camera or phone with ample memory space.
Are there any restrictions I should be aware of?
Yes. Stay on marked tracks, do not touch thermal water or steam vents, no drones or smoking within the park, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes, you can manage your booking and cancel or reschedule with 24 hours' notice from the confirmation email. In case of operator cancellation, you'll receive a full refund.
